Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring during weekend night shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Med/Surg nursing
- Ability to work every weekend night shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry experience or formal telemetry training
- Prior experience in a contract or travel nursing role
