Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shifts | 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 5:1 (7a–11p) and 6:1 (11p–7a) on Med-Surg, and 4:1 (7a–11p) and 5:1 (11p–7a) on Telemetry
- Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Participate in a self-scheduling system with shift assignments coordinated to meet unit staffing needs
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, with one holiday time-off request considered per assignment period
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience required
- Expected 72 hours biweekly; on-call hours are not included in the expected biweekly hours

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Comfort with floating between Med-Surg and Telemetry units
- Experience working rotating shifts including nights and weekends
