Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit during weekend shifts
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
- Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing setting
- Ability to read and respond to telemetry monitoring
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Prior experience in a weekend-only or per diem nursing role
