    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Martinsburg, West Virginia, 25401!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Telemetry / PCU

    Location

    Martinsburg, WV

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/PCU unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio across a combined 42-bed unit
    • Monitor and document cardiac telemetry strips every 4 hours, interpreting rhythms and exporting findings directly into the EMR (EPIC)
    • Manage set-rate drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Labetalol, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin, Nitroglycerin, and Integrilin per protocol
    • Care for patients with diagnoses including elevated troponin, active chest pain, NSTEMI, pre/post cardiac catheterization, post-STEMI (transferred from ICU), pacers, peritoneal dialysis, and occasional oncology or post-surgical overflow
    • Collaborate with in-house Hospitalists, Respiratory Therapy, and Pharmacy available 24/7; manage BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow oxygen per RT direction
    • Adhere to every-other-weekend requirement (Friday/Saturday nights) and potential holiday scheduling based on unit needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for the state of practice
    • Current BLS certification (required)
    • Current ACLS certification (required)
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    • Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
    • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemption requests considered on a case-by-case basis)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with Phillips Cardiac Monitors and central monitoring station workflows
    • Familiarity with Omnicell medication dispensing systems
    • Experience caring for cardiac catheterization patients and post-STEMI recovery populations
