    Job Title

    Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry / Ortho (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

    Location

    Manchester, New Hampshire

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and deliver direct patient care on a 48-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit with an average census of 27 patients at a 1:6 night ratio
    • Administer IV medications including Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin IV or subcutaneous
    • Provide orthopedic and postoperative patient care, including wound care, drain management, and wound VAC therapy
    • Manage central lines including PICC lines, hemodialysis catheters, and midlines, as well as foley, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheter care
    • Perform NGT/G-tube care, parenteral nutrition management, ostomy care, and NGT insertions as needed
    • Utilize remote telemetry monitoring equipment and document care using the Altera/Allscripts Sunrise electronic documentation system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
    • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry monitoring and orthopedic patient care
    • Ability to float to like Med/Surg Telemetry units as required per float policy
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Altera/Allscripts Sunrise electronic health record system
    • Familiarity with HCA healthcare systems and protocols
    • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment with participation in daily rounding activities
