    Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Days)

    Independence, MO | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 48 Hours Guaranteed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:3–1:4 (AM) and 1:4–1:5 (PM)
    • Perform advanced assessment and critical thinking in the management of telemetry patients, including monitoring of cardiac rhythms via bedside cardiac monitors
    • Manage vasoactive drips and operate unit equipment including BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
    • Conduct bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and participate in daily leadership rounds to support patient experience standards
    • Float to MedSurg units as needed per unit floating policy
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Missouri or a compact state
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or related RN experience
    • Demonstrated advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
    • Experience with management of vasoactive drips
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with central line or PICC line placement or management
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or telemetry setting
    • Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center or stroke/STEMI-accredited facility
