Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry (13-Week Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5–6
- Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Perform wound care and other standard Medical/Surgical procedures
- Operate unit equipment including Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, glucometers, mobilab, and Welch Allyn devices
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Float as needed to other M/S Telemetry units and the ED for inpatient hold patients
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Demonstrated caring and compassionate patient care behaviors
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with expected weekend shifts (approximately 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong flexibility and dependability in a fast-paced inpatient environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to patient care
