Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry / ED Holds

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients, including those held in the ED pending inpatient placement
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient flow and transitions of care
- Perform thorough nursing assessments, documentation, and care planning in accordance with facility protocols
- Maintain a safe patient environment while adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
- Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Travel nursing availability for a 13-week assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with ED hold patients or emergency department overflow settings
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring equipment and telemetry interpretation
- Experience in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment
