Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Acute Care / Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of up to 6–7:1
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including geriatric and swing bed (inpatient rehab) populations
- Perform and assist with wound care and minor unit procedures
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner electronic health records
- Deliver concierge-level patient experience consistent with the expectations of an affluent community hospital setting
- Collaborate with the care team in the absence of a unit secretary or patient care technician as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with demonstrated care of geriatric patients or inpatient rehab / swing bed patients
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
- Ability to work variable night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS and/or CPI certification preferred
- Experience with wound care management
- Background in Med/Surg or Telemetry/PCU settings using standard Med/Surg equipment
