    Job Title

    Travel RN – Acute Care / Telemetry (Night Shift)

    Location

    Highlands, North Carolina

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts per week | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on an Acute Care / Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of up to 6–7:1
    • Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including geriatric and swing bed (inpatient rehab) populations
    • Perform and assist with wound care and minor unit procedures
    • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner electronic health records
    • Deliver concierge-level patient experience consistent with the expectations of an affluent community hospital setting
    • Collaborate with the care team in the absence of a unit secretary or patient care technician as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with demonstrated care of geriatric patients or inpatient rehab / swing bed patients
    • Current BLS certification (required)
    • Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
    • Ability to work variable night shifts on a 3x12 schedule
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS and/or CPI certification preferred
    • Experience with wound care management
    • Background in Med/Surg or Telemetry/PCU settings using standard Med/Surg equipment
