Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact state eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
