Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry setting with the ability to float to Intensive Care and General Medical units within the facility
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Perform NIHSS assessments as required within the scope of practice
- Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
- Must be willing and able to float to Intensive Care and General Medical units
- Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience (at least 1 previous assignment in a General setting)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Experience performing NIHSS assessments
