Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
- Float within the hospital and potentially to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
- Participate in every other holiday rotation as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required – AHA certifications only accepted; all must be current at time of submission
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible – local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates must be available to work every other holiday
- Former permanent employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 2 years prior to placement through an agency
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
- Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
- Experience floating within a hospital setting
