Contract | 6-Month Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Perform neurological assessments and document findings accurately in the patient record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in a Neuro or Telemetry nursing setting
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a neurological or stroke unit setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an acute care environment
