Contract | Night Shift | 36 or 48 hours per week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
- Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
- Support an Epic EMR conversion environment, performing accurate and timely documentation within the system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Recent Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; proficiency in both systems required
- Each work history entry must include the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems are listed for one position, dates must be provided to clarify when each was used
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
