Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio across a 25-bed unit with a 12-bed overflow unit
- Perform skilled clinical procedures including IV starts, NG tube placement, Foley catheter insertion, and care for continuous bladder irrigation patients
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage care for patients across a wide variety of diagnoses
- Document accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
- Participate in floating to other units as required and block scheduling as available
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of Indiana (or compact equivalent accepted per facility requirements)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

- Experience caring for a diverse patient population with varied diagnoses in a high-acuity setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Prior travel nursing experience
