Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a telemetry unit setting
- Monitor and interpret basic cardiac rhythm strips
- Collaborate within a primary and team nursing model to deliver coordinated patient care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret basic cardiac rhythm strips prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a telemetry or step-down unit
- Familiarity with both primary and team nursing care models
