Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Assume accountability for unit-level care quality and patient safety
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Monitor and manage clinical staff competency and appropriate resource utilization related to patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Telemetry nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage patient care needs in a telemetry setting
- Ability to delegate care appropriately and supervise clinical staff
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a progressive care or step-down unit environment
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
- Experience supporting or collaborating with nursing leadership on quality and safety initiatives
