RN - Med/Surg (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Up to 3 Saturdays per 6-week schedule period; Sundays off; holiday coverage based on surgical volumes
Key Responsibilities
- Care for post-procedural patients requiring 1–3 night stays following surgery
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients as part of routine unit assignments
- Provide care for cath lab patients as needed
- Support ER overflow patient care when census demands
- Deliver comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and patient acuity
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Med/Surg nursing
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- Ability to work day shift hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Availability for Saturday shifts and holiday coverage as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with post-surgical or post-procedural patient populations
- Familiarity with cath lab patient care
- Experience with ER overflow patient management
