Registered Nurse – Neurology (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Night Shift | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Neurology unit with Telemetry monitoring
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neurological patients
- Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Rotate every other weekend and every other holiday as required
- Float to an alternate campus location as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
- Experience in a Neurology or Telemetry nursing setting
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
- Willingness to float to an alternate campus as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Neuro-Telemetry or step-down unit
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification or familiarity
- Experience working in a multi-campus healthcare environment
