Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday | 6-Month Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and communicate changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring nursing
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital telemetry unit
- ACLS certification preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
