Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
Monitor patients using a GE Telemetry system and document care accurately within the Meditech EMR
Perform IV and Foley catheter insertions and assist with chest tube removal procedures
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and sitters across day and night shifts
Take initiative in patient care decisions and contribute positively to unit workflow and team dynamics
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Telemetry experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for post-operative CABG patients
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Outgoing, team-oriented personality with a willingness to take initiative
