Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit with continuous cardiac monitoring
- Perform neurological assessments and apply clinical knowledge to neuro patient populations
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Neurological nursing experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an acute care environment
