Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Coverage Required Unless Included in Approved Time Off
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry/cardiac monitoring throughout the shift
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
- Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November), as required
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required - first-time travelers are not eligible
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience managing patient ratios of 1:4 required
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; time-off requests submitted after submission will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- NIHSS certification preferred
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in higher-acuity environments
