Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings within a small, rural acute care facility
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage patients requiring telemetry monitoring
- Maintain patient ratios of 5:1 on standard acuity and 3:1 to 4:1 for higher acuity PCU patients
- Care for a broad patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric
- Work independently and adapt quickly — no non-billable orientation is provided
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements including availability for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year holiday blocks if scheduled
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry settings
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
- Completed Basic Dysrhythmia test required
- Must possess own reliable vehicle for the duration of the assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience in a rural or small facility setting highly preferred
- Comfort working independently with minimal onboarding support
