Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights) | Every Other Weekend | Expected 72 Hours Biweekly (on-call hours not included)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
- Float between Med-Surg Telemetry units, PCU, ICU, and ED as needed to support census and staffing demands
- Care for Med-Surg boarders within various unit settings
- Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient status and respond appropriately
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and care coordination
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
- Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
- Strong telemetry skills required due to multi-unit float responsibilities
- EPIC experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
- Familiarity with PCU or ICU-level patient care
- Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows
