    Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on Telemetry units with a cardiac focus, including post-procedural cardiac patients (post-op open heart, TAVRs, ablations, post-caths, pacemakers) as well as general telemetry patients including CHF, sepsis, electrolyte imbalances, and post-stroke patients
    • Read, interpret, and document telemetry strips independently a minimum of twice per shift
    • Titrate Heparin drips and manage set-rate cardiac drips including amiodarone, Cardizem, dopamine, and dobutamine as indicated
    • Float between two telemetry floors as needed to support staffing coverage, maintaining flexibility across both cardiac-focused and general telemetry patient populations
    • Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, respiratory therapy, and remote telemetry monitoring technicians to deliver safe, coordinated patient care
    • Assist respiratory therapy staff as needed with patients requiring intermittent high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, or CPAP
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in good standing
    • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with demonstrated post-procedural cardiac experience (cath lab, ablations, or open heart)
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
    • Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips and document findings appropriately
    • Willingness to float to other medical-surgical, MS-Telemetry, and Telemetry units within the hospital system as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience
    • PCU or step-down unit experience
    • Experience with insulin drip titration (facility willing to train if needed)
