    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70816!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Telemetry

    Location

    Baton Rouge, LA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a night shift nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
    • Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips and interpret EKG readings
    • Float to other units as assigned based on departmental needs
    • Participate in on-call rotation and provide every-other-weekend coverage
    • Fulfill holiday coverage requirements, expected to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)

    Required Qualifications
    • Active Compact or Louisiana RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal
    • BLS certification required (AHA)
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry and/or Med-Surg experience
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR
    • NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and current within 4 weeks of submission date
    • Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on driver's license to the facility) to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification preferred
    • Experience with cardiac drip management and continuous telemetry monitoring
    • Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are accepted)
