Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Med-Surg (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Telemetry/Med-Surg unit with expected patient ratios of 1:6, and potentially 1:5
- Monitor patients using GE Telemetry Monitoring and Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using MediTech EMR
- Perform and assist with unit procedures including Wound Vac, CPM Machines, External Fixation, and Bracing
- Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and unit clerks as part of a structured night shift team
- No on-call requirements beyond scheduled shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry and/or Med-Surg nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Experience in an Ortho/Trauma setting
