Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving a large cardiac population across Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit floors
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 and collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members on both day and night shifts
- Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Utilize facility EMR systems (Meditech/CPN) to document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Care for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Willingness and ability to float to multiple inpatient units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong telemetry background with demonstrated proficiency in cardiac monitoring
- Chemotherapy certification (candidates with this credential may be considered for scheduling on the Oncology unit)
- Experience caring for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
