Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving a large cardiac population, including patients on Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation using Meditech/CPN EMR
- Float to inpatient Medical/Telemetry and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including RNs and CNAs across units
- Care for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions in a high-acuity hospital setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Willingness and ability to float to various inpatient units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong telemetry background with demonstrated clinical expertise
- Chemotherapy (Chemo) Certification – candidates with this credential may have the opportunity to be scheduled on the Oncology unit
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with flexibility across multiple unit types
