    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit serving an adult to geriatric population with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
    • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4–5 within a 36-room unit averaging a daily census of 35
    • Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation and Pyxis for medication management
    • Communicate effectively using SBAR methodology with interdisciplinary team members
    • Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
    • Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Proficiency with Epic EHR required
    • Must be available to work assigned major holidays falling within the contract period per holiday policy
    • Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
    • Prior experience with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
    • Familiarity with SBAR communication framework in a telemetry or step-down setting
