Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients undergoing diagnostic rule-out stays, typically 24–48 hours in duration
- Monitor and manage a varied medical patient population, with occasional overflow surgical patients
- Function autonomously with strong telemetry assessment and monitoring skills; no medication drips administered on this unit
- Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation as required
- Fulfill on-call requirements of 5–6 night shifts per 6-week period (22:00–07:00 on-call window)
- Float within scope to Medical/Surgical Telemetry as needed to meet facility demands
Required Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
- ACLS certification required
- BCLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
- Experience with Epic or Cerner electronic health record systems
- Finalized requested time off must be submitted with application; no RTO additions will be accepted after signing

Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–3 years of telemetry experience preferred, particularly for first-time travelers
- Cerner charting experience preferred
- Ability to function independently in a fast-paced observation setting
