Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit during overnight shifts
- Manage patients requiring ventilator support and monitor respiratory status
- Administer and monitor non-titratable vasoactive drips per protocol
- Safely administer medications including opioids, sedatives, and anticholinergic agents
- Perform postmortem care in accordance with facility policies
- Float to complex care units as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of start
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of start
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator management
- Experience with non-titratable vasoactive drip administration
- Experience with postmortem care procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Familiarity with complex care or high-acuity patient populations
- Experience floating across multiple units within a large acute care environment
