Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to a primarily medical patient population on a telemetry unit
- Manage a patient assignment of 5–6 patients within an 18-bed unit
- Perform and monitor IV therapy and PICC line management
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 18 months of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with IV therapy and PICC line care
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
