Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – TELE)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting across 12-hour night shifts
- Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Manage non-cardiac drips including heparin and insulin infusions
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of clinical nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Active Georgia RN license or a Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Demonstrated experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Experience managing non-cardiac drips (e.g., heparin, insulin)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care or high-acuity telemetry unit
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in large academic medical settings
