Job Title

Travel RN – Observation Unit

Location

Asheville, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an Observation Unit setting, monitoring and assessing patient status throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members regarding patient progress and plan of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in an Observation Unit or similar acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with Labor and Delivery or women's health care settings
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
