Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Utilize unit equipment including EKG machines, DynaMaps, bladder scanners, vein finders, and telemetry monitors
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Assist with procedures performed on the unit, including heart catheterizations
- Float to all MedSurg/Telemetry floors as needed; expected to work every other weekend or two full weekends per month
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required prior to submission
- Minimum 1 year of MedSurg/Telemetry experience
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
