Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Ohio

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. Potential to float to similar telemetry units to care for the same patient population. Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation
- Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
- Pre-start modules required (average 6-15 hours; 4 hours billable)
- Background checks and fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry required
- Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from the specialty within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
- Negative drug screen required within 12 months of start date
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Clean license history with no open legal cases
