Key Responsibilities of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse- Serve as Charge Nurse every other weekend or as needed to meet unit requirements
- Administer insulin and cardiac drips proficiently
- Provide care for a diverse patient population including medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols while delivering patient-centered care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse- Current RN license with Telemetry specialization
- AHA BLS and ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required before start
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
- Prior travel nurse experience and charge nurse experience required
- Recent experience with the EPIC documentation system (within the past 2 years)
