Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry – Virginia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week, night shift, 13-week assignment. Patient ratio 1:5 with 24 rooms on unit. Weekend coverage includes 6 weekend shifts over 6 weeks.

Highlights:

  • 24-bed cardiac step-down unit specializing in medical cardiac patients from adult to geriatric populations
  • Diverse case mix including CHF, post-MI, angina, A-fib, syncope, pacemaker/ICD management, dysrhythmias, and select med/surg patients
  • EPIC electronic medical records system; 6+ months of recent EPIC experience required within the past 12 months
  • Orientation includes EPIC training class (accelerated or 2-day option based on experience level)
  • Smoke/nicotine-free facility committed to staff and patient wellness

Requirements:

  • Active Virginia or Compact RN license (must be active and in hand at time of application)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Cardiac telemetry experience within the past year
  • 6+ months of recent EPIC experience within the past 12 months (documentation required at submission)
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
