Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our Clinical Support Unit. This role requires expertise in telemetry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Telemetry
• Common Diagnoses: Includes but is not limited to postoperative care, orthopedic, neurological, medical, oncology, and emergency department holds.
• Nurse-Patient Ratios: ED can be a 1:4 ratio, Medical/Surgical (MS) is 1:5.

Shift Information

• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Shift Times: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirements: Flexibility to fill in as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty (Telemetry/Medical-Surgical)
• Previous travel nursing experience is required
• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Skills and Responsibilities

• Experience with titrating medication drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently is required.
• RNs will be floated to various units as needed within specialty care.
• Experience in managing emergency department holds is preferred.
• Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Orientation and Training

• Comprehensive orientation includes a meet and greet on day one and three shifts of inpatient orientation.
• Access to ongoing support from an assistant management team available 24/7.
