Description:
The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry unit.

Candidates must be comfortable managing patients recovering from cardiac procedures.
The average daily census is approximately 16 patients.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:4 to 1:6.
Float requirements will include potential assignments to different units.
Experience in using the electronic health record system is necessary.
Skills in telemetry and monitoring are essential for this role.
The unit accepts first-time travelers, providing opportunities for growth and experience.
Additional responsibilities may include the administration of blood products and managing patients with complex medical needs.
Team collaboration is key within an interdisciplinary support system.
The nurse will be expected to cover weekends and may have additional scheduling requirements.
