Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - Telemetry for a travel assignment in Plattsburgh, NY. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse looking to work within a resource float pool across medical-surgical and telemetry units. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry- Manage and monitor patients within the med-surg and telemetry units
- Participate in IVs and bladder scans
- Conduct blood draws off central lines
- Perform glucose monitoring
- Provide coverage for ED HOLD patients as needed
- Ensure patient care standards are met on every shift
Requirements of the RN - Telemetry- Valid NY RN license
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience
- 1 year experience in telemetry or related specialty
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required before starting
- Epic experience within the past 2 years
- CMSRN preferred
