Description:
We are seeking a Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team.
This position requires the nurse to work on the Neuro unit and Telemetry unit.
The candidate will work 4 shifts per week during the night.
Every other weekend is required.
The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
The role involves caring for patients with neurological conditions.
Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, craniotomy, and cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) is essential.
The candidate should also be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
The unit is designated as a stroke unit and is thrombectomy capable.
The facility is accredited with various designations in neuroscience and neurology.
Candidates should be aware that floating between units may be required based on staffing needs.
Must be willing to commit to working during major holidays, specifically Christmas.
