AMHS Staffing Alliance is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Glens Falls, New York.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years experience
NYS RN License
EPIC EMR
AHA BLS & ACLS
Telemetry and Neuroscience Unit is a 46-bed unit that specializes in the care of acutely ill adult cardiac, medical/surgical patients and acutely ill adult patients with acute primary neurological diagnoses requiring close monitoring and neuro checks. Common diagnoses and conditions include R/O MI, CHF, chest pain, pre-and post-cardiac catheterization care, hypertension, renal failure, diabetes, cardiomyopathy, cardiac arrhythmias, GI bleeds, ETOH withdrawal, cerebrovascular disorders, and seizure disorders. Clinical nurses on Tower 6 must become competent in interpreting telemetry, maintain both BLS and ACLS and complete annual stroke education. In addition, a positive mindset, good communication skills, and the desire to work as a team for the best patient outcomes are essential!
AMHS Staffing Alliance Job ID #1155-9. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
