Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift role. This position involves providing critical care to inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions.

Shift Details

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to change based on need
Float Requirement: Floating to like units or other facilities may be required based on staffing needs

Patient Population

The patient population primarily includes adults facing serious cardiovascular conditions, such as:

Sepsis
Myocardial Infarction (MI)
Unstable Angina
Coronary Artery Disease

Additionally, the patients may be receiving therapies involving:

IV antiarrhythmic therapy
Vasoactive infusions
Anticoagulation treatment

Special Procedures and Unit Details

Administration of vasoactive drugs
Antiarrhythmic drug therapy
Thrombolytic therapy
Defibrillation/Cardioversion
Thoracentesis
Cardiac telemetry monitoring
EKG monitoring
Non-invasive blood pressure monitoring

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience
At least 2 years of experience in the field is preferred
First-time travelers may be considered based on experience
