Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Travel experience required - EPIC experience required - Every other weekend availability - Potential for floating to other units Description: Local candidates only. Traveler must be pre-closed. Required certifications must have valid expiration dates. References must be obtained within the last year. Experience with telemetry patients is necessary. Candidate must have skills in cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias. Ability to manage IVs and provide related care is essential. Additional skills include airway management and use of rapid response teams. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various services. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 28 with a maximum of 32 beds. Self-scheduling for shifts is available.
