An immediate 6-week travel contract opening is available for an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Houston, Texas (Texas Medical Center). Operating within the 14 Tower Cardiology unit at an internationally renowned Level I Trauma Center and major academic medical institution, this high-earning position features an approved 48-hour daytime schedule (4x12-Hours, Days, 48 guaranteed weekly hours). NO ON-CALL REQUIRED! HIGH-VOLUME CARDIAC EXPERIENCE! The unit specializes in acute congestive heart failure (CHF) management and post-cardiac catheterization recovery. Location Details: Assignment is located in Houston, TX 77030 (Texas Medical Center / Dept: 14 Tower Cardio). ⏱️ Assignment Timeline: 6-week short-term contract running from October 19, 2026, through November 29, 2026 (Job ID: 1184939). Parking Notice: Paid parking area; daily parking starts at $15+/day, with monthly garage/lot passes available between $95 and $120. Floating Commitment: Candidate must confirm willingness to float to other telemetry/medical units based on hospital census. Submittal Rules & Compliance: Active TX or Compact RN license must be attached with the initial submittal (License in-hand required). Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS cards must be uploaded with the submission packet. Resume must show documented experience with Epic EMR, cardiac infusions (Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine), and post-cath care. Facility Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts on assignments less than 13 weeks. All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be presented upfront with the submittal packet.
