Must-Have:
One previous successful travel nursing assignment
30 months of RN or LPN nursing experience
Ability to care for 6 telemetry patients/post cardiac procedures to include PCI, PPM, ICD, or Ablations
Proficient in reading telemetry strips
Skilled in time management and care planning
Experience in collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments
Knowledge in discharge planning and patient education
Advanced skills in phlebotomy
Ability to administer respiratory treatments
Competence in foley catheter care and maintenance
Management of cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine
Description:
Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff.
Unit specifics include 29 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6.
RNs are part of a dedicated care team utilizing i-mobile phones and mobile computer workstations.
Documentation is managed through an electronic system.
Three 12-hour shifts are required per week.
Float policies may apply, requiring flexibility to accommodate emergency department and telemetry monitoring room needs.
Patient experience protocols include bedside shift report and RN/MD rounding.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in managing telemetry patients and conducting advanced nursing procedures.
