Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Float to a nearby affiliated facility as needed to support staffing demands
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • EPIC EMR proficiency required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
  • Must be willing to float to an affiliated facility as needed
  • Must successfully pass an onsite competency assessment on day one (one attempt only); candidates must also complete Relias onboarding assessments prior to orientation (up to two attempts allowed)
  • No time-off requests will be considered during the assignment period
  • Local candidates are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced acute care or telemetry environment
  • Familiarity with floating between units or facilities within a health system
